This restaurant is very highly rated, and from the standpoint of the rooftop view and the lovely staff, their 4.9 rating is well-deserved. Once you climb the narrow, twisty stairs to the roof, the 360 view is gorgeous. You can see the sea above the rooftops of Essaouira in every direction. And the staff are so pleasant; the whole charming place has a kind and gentle vibe that’s irresistible. The day we were there for lunch, the food was good. Not the best in Essaouira, but plenty good enough for us to plan a return. You’re really coming for the view and the staff, though. And have a little snack before you go, because our salads and tagines took a very, very long time to arrive. All in all, though we left immediately after eating, our lunch took three hours. The terrace is so lovely and relaxing that we enjoyed lingering on and on while we waited for food, but it’s not a good place to go for a quick bite.
Beautiful restaurant for our last meal out in essaouira, amazing views and nice atmosphere. The hummus salad is fantastic and so are the tagines, all our food came out very quick as well! The rooftop is higher than all other buildings and offers a fantastic view over essaouira. Thank you so much for such a lovely meal :)
Nice terrace with friendly staff and a naughty cat named Couscous! The juices and food were made with local fresh ingredients. Their menu focuses on Moroccan specialties. It seems I was unlucky with the fish Tajine as it did not contain very good cuts. Otherwise everything else was excellent!
Amazing rooftop restaurant with coool vibes and amazing views over the city. The food was delicious and cheap. The service was very attentive. Show up early as some of the dishes sell out and then you’re out of luck for the day.

This place is great! It has everything - good, food, good views, great service, and a handsome cat named Couscous! I had the sardine tagine and hummus salad and both were excellent. The prices were great also. It's a younger crowd since the restaurant is on the roof of a hostel, but everyone is welcome.
The food and service was fantastic. And the amazing view over the city topped it. We had the vegy samosa and goat cheese cigars for starters. The sauce which came with them was fantastic. The sardines tagine, which was in the shape of balls, was delicious The vegy tagine could have done with a little more spice but was still nice. The staff were great and there were cats to stroke. I definitely recommend
